Made of yellow low density polyethylene, the ring protects the cylinder from a hard impact when tipping or falling over.Position of ring can be adjusted to aviod contact with the top of a receiver when liquid is poured from the cylinder.Should a ring become loose after prolonged use, soak it briefly in hot water (90°C) to return it to its original shape.
